Dinah-Jane Hansen Rumour!?

Could this be? Some people are speculating that Dinah-Jane Hansen could be the voice of the First Polynesian Disney Princess Moana! If this were true, that would be a huge boost in Dinah Jane's and Fifth Harmony's career because with the promotion of Disney, they could go places farther than where they are today. Let's discuss this rumour shall we?

As noticed in the picture above, Dinah Jane Hansen had been invited by The Rock (I presume with her previous tweet on twitter which is now deleted) to attend the San Andreas Movie Premiere! She worked the black carpet with other stars and took some pictures with Dwayne Johnson and his daughter Simone. She was the only one out of the five members of the girl group to attend the movie premiere. It's so weird seeing some of the girls on their own sometimes or with other popular friends. After showing up at the movie premiere to support The Rock and took pictures with him at the Premiere and at a house, it seems like these two have been getting to know each other.

What adds fuel to the rumour is that Johnson had been confirmed to voice the Demigod Maui back in December 2014. If you wonder how Johnson knew Dinah, maybe it's because she was a part of the movie or she auditioned for the part and got to meet him? It would make sense that Dinah has some relation to this movie because she comes from a Polynesian background. With the Polynesian culture introduced in this movie, it would make sense for the producers of this movie to find a young girl from Polynesian decent to voice the new Disney Princess. This is almost too good of a rumour to be true and it'd be amazing if she wad the voice of the Polynesian Princess.

I only got a few problems though. Doesn't it take quite a long time to produce a movie with such beautiful graphics (like Frozen), especially in a Disney Movie? I'd assume that they would have already started the project of producing the movie since it is coming out next year, so is it too late for this rumour? Or, in my opinion, she could have signed a deal with the producers ahead of time and could be doing work on the film in the fall? I think that she was did get the role, that'd put Fifth Harmony on a little delay. In the past, the quintet sometimes had members gone for a day for family/healthy reasons but never gone for a week to do something else. I'm sure this film would require Dinah to put her music career on hold to do the film and with Fifth Harmony rising to the top, I wouldn't stop if I were them. The Summer Reflection Tour is right around the corner and there's no time until after September to work on other projects. But there still are possibilities! What do you think? Should she be the Disney Polynesian Princess?

Worth it Update #2

The Billboard Charts has changed once again! In this post, I'll give you all the updates on how Worth It is still doing. Crossing my fingers for Hot 100 Top 15!
(*Note*: For the most recent Worth It Post covering August 1st to August 6th, visit here: Worth It Update #11
May 27th, 2015)

Worth It from Fifth Harmony's debut album Reflection  is on a roll! I can never believe that Worth It has gained so much likability from people across the globe. The girls' latest single is now hitting every part of their world they possibly can. From Ireland, Lebanon, Israel, Austria and soon to be out in the UK, there's so many places that are now taking into account of Fifth Harmony's existence!

To bring everyone back up to speed, Fifth Harmony has now peaked to #17 on the all encompassing Billboard Hot 100! This single keeps rising, that I don't know if it will ever be stopped! Will it continue to peak, or did the girls get lucky that it didn't drop this week? Either way, there are some dedicated harmonizers out there helping their girls. On iTunes in the US, with the girl group's request, fans have been keeping Worth It in the Top 10 for quite a few days now. With sales rising, it won't be a surprise if Worth It rises to a new spot next week. Others charts on the US Billboard that Worth It has been doing well on includes the Mainstream Top 40: #16, Rhythmic Charts: #22 and on the US Dance/Mixshow Airplay: #24. On Headline Planet, it is said that Fifth Harmony is now #12 on the pop radio and has garnered 33.5 million audience impressions.

Like I've said before, Worth It is going places Fifth Harmony has never reached before. The pop-single is a #1 hit in Israel and Lebanon! Following those number ones, Worth It has peaked as far as #6 in the Greece Digital Songs Chart on Billboard. Many other countries where Worth It has at least past the Top 30 mark includes Belgium, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, and Slovakia where the single placed #17, #17, #24, #24 and #26, respectively. It truly is amazing!

As their fourth consecutive RIAA Gold Certified single, Worth It is their best single yet. With each single every time, the girls become more and more popular. Is it possible to accumulate all the way to #1 on Billboard? Its a possibility and only time will tell :)

Relax The Night Away

It's the end of the day and if you want to end your night beautifully, why don't you feel like going to heaven by listening to Fifth Harmony's beautiful cover of Silent Night from December 2014! One of my favourite covers and there are so many complex harmonies it'll blow your mind! Enjoy!

Fun Fact About Worth It!

Well, instead of anxiously waiting for time to go by and write my next post, here's a fun fact to keep you happy until next time!

Did you know that Worth it was originally supposed to be just Kid Ink's single? Is it a miracle that Fifth Harmony's greatest hit wasn't even supposed to be their's in the first place? My only concern with this little fact is that there were only three writers. Two of which never wrote any other single but Worth it for their album and a singer-songwriter Priscilla Renea wrote Worth it and Going Nowhere. But Going Nowhere is a deluxe song and since deluxe songs never turn into singles, Renea has no other songs to credit as her work from the album. With the increasing success of this single, will any of their other song reach this amount of success without the same writers and producers? Only time will tell :)

The SUMMER Reflection Tour: Full Post Coming Soon!

The Reflection Tour! It's not over yet so keep your hopes up! Earlier back in late April, the girls announced a new leg of their tour that will happen in the summer! Sadly it won't be international nor even in Canada but hey, at least I'll get to watch more videos of the girls performing! Here is post! http://5hfanboy.blogspot.ca/2015/07/the-summer-reflection-tour-full-details.html

Fifth Harmony: Next Single?

Worth It has shown tremendous success so far! After June, I'm pretty sure 5H will be dropping hints on which single will be their fourth single from the album Reflection. In this post, I'll be giving my song-to-song review of the singles of the regular album of the Reflection! (Sorry, can't do deluxe because singles usually aren't formed from the deluxe album)

1. Top Down
Top Down starts off the album in a nice pop-introduction. It's pretty catchy and the song lasts for 3 minutes and 40 seconds. The song fulfills the listener's need of listening to a mashup of different instruments, with electric guitars and saxophones blazing through the song. This song is a good-song all around, but I think it's missing a quality. I love it when they perform Top Down live and it adds some energy to the crowd. The only part I wonder is if this song is catchy enough to catch on to not just harmonizers, but everyone around the world. I think this song would be pretty boring after hearing it for a second time and I'd want to listen to some more upbeat-catchy songs like Worth It. This song is great for the album but I just don't feel it when it comes to Top Down being one of their hit singles.

Rating: 3.5/5

2. This is How We Roll
This is How We Roll, as many would think, is really a similar tune to Scream & Shout. Sure, the verses have the same beat but I think Fifth Harmony's song shows more vocal range than Britney ever showed on her single. I think This is How We Roll has that catchy anthem many people would want to jam out with their friend with at a party. I especially love Ally singing that bridge, it's always that moment in a song where artists slow down the track before a huge belt. When you think the song is enough, Camila just sucks you back in with her voice just electrifying the song and you get the chills as they finish their last chorus. I definitely see a lot of potential for this song, but its hard to tell if it will break the record that Worth It has left for the girls.

Rating: 4.5/5

3. Everlasting Love
Everlasting Love is like a pop-ballad that pleases listeners with the theme of love. There's just something to really love about this single. Lauren's Voice? The beautiful chorus? The repetition in some lines? I'm not sure but if Fifth Harmony ever wants to go from their pop anthems BO$$ and Worth it to a more settle-ballad song, Everlasting Love would be the direction to take.

Rating: 4/5

4. Like Mariah
Like Mariah is one hell of a single, I won't lie. With every girl shining in their own way in different parts of the song, its seems like management finally got the solo distribution right in the group! Its just the right amount we all need to hear from the girls individually. I think there's not as much harmonies as I like, but the Always Be My Baby sample sure does satisf us with some unified voices. I love it when they perform this song live and it gives the audience the energy they need in live concerts. When they get down and do some dance moves during Tyga's rapping, that's when the audience really goes wild! (The Video below contains a performance of Like Mariah AND a Mariah Carey Medley, so skip half of it if you just want to see Like Mariah)

Rating: 4/5

5. Them Girls Be Like

I'm not the greatest fan of this song and I'm sure some might agree. This gathers in all of the modern-day themes of a girl and is presented to us in many verses. Taking selfies, looking at yourself in the mirror and doing things on your phone, maybe many girls can relate to this? There's just something in this song that is clearly lacking for me. There is no shining moment in the girls voices and it all feels a little boring after the first half of the song. I like the bridge before the final chorus but that's about it. Nothing really special to it.

Rating: 3/5

6. Reflection

The girls slay Reflection live most of the time. When I first heard them perform the song live, they are so captivating! They got all their dance moves down and sass the heck out of the performance. The track is definitely a lot better live because the instruments seem more powerful and energetic than the song in the album. This could be a great pop anthem for people to rock out to and ironically, Reflection is the name of the album. Doesn't that show some significance for Reflection? My one problem, would be the relatability to guys. I mean, I enjoy it but will guys my age find any interest in girls empowering other girls?

Rating: 4/5

7. Suga Mama

Suga Mama is definitely a thrilling song and it is very sassy. It's got an addictive beat to listen to I have no problem with hearing it more than once. Like most of their songs, it is very catchy to listen to. I don't see it being a single though. I believe that it's more like a song that stuns the audience during concerts, I'm not sure if I'd listen to it on the radio.

Rating: 3.5/5

8. We Know
We Know was one of the songs performed right after the release of BO$$. I remember how ecstatic I was to listen to We Know the first time and I think the girls really dig into their vocals and show off a great sound. When I hear it live and acoustic in interviews, I'm just very mesmerized. Their harmonies are spot on with each other and I think people will grow to love this song. The one problem I have with this song is the kind of ballad-mood that just doesn't get me going. If we want to continue the streak of rocking-upbeat pop singles, I wouldn't recommend this as a single.

Rating: 4/5
I think it's safe to say that it'll be between Like Mariah and This is How We Roll. They're both great pop songs, but they have completely different sounds. What do you think should be their next single?
Until next time, see you later and I hope you enjoyed this post!

Fifth Harmony's Journey Through the UK Thus Far

Later this week, the pop-singing quintet is set to arrive in the UK! Counting down the days to their embark to Europe, the UK harmonizers will be re-acquainted with the American Girl Group once again.

Sorry, this picture is kinda cut out. Only pic I could use, but I'll find a better one :)

Their X Factor UK Appearance
The girls had made an earlier appearance in the UK, performing on the X Factor UK for the very first time. They performed their summer hit 'BO$$' and their performance on the long-running show gave them a boost in sales in the UK and saw their single soar through the charts. BO$$ ended up snatching #21 on the  UK's Official Chart, just out of reach of the Top 20! That's pretty impressive for their UK Debut! Their other single Sledgehammer, only managed to attain spot #112. A little disappointed of the huge margin between the two singles but hey, at least we know there's some dedicated harmonizers out there!
There X Factor UK Performance:

Knowing that there is still a lot of potential for Fifth Harmony in the UK, the girls will be making several appearances. The girl group is set to perform in London's G-A-Y at Heaven Nightclub. Performing all three singles from their debut album Reflection, it should be a great show like many fans have seen during their February-March Tour: The Reflection Tour. The girls pull of great vocals in some shows, here's to hoping they do great this coming Saturday, May 30th!

The Saturday after G-A-Y, the girls will be performing at Capital FM's Summertime Ball! Each year, starting from 2009, the Global Radio hosts the Ball and showcases a star-studded line up of successful musical acts! This year in 2015, the lineup at Wembley Stadium includes:
  • One Direction
  • Ariana Grande
  • Avicii
  • Kelly Clarkson
  • Rita Ora
  • Jess Glynne
  • Jason Derulo
  • Carly Rae Jepsen
  • Olly Murs
  • Pitbull
  • Meghan Trainor
  • Martin Garrix
  • Nathan Sykes
  • Ne-Yo
  • Flo Rida
  • LunchMoney Lewis
  • Rixton
  • Nick Jonas
  • UK's Girl Group Little Mix (Performing Black Magic for the first time!)
  • America's Girl Group Fifth Harmony!
Sometime I believe in June, Simon Cowell had said Fifth Harmony would make an appearance in Good Morning Britain? I looked around but sources are a little too vague for me to understand if its official or if it was just Simon Cowell at Good Morning Britain talking about Fifth Harmony. Either way, the girls are hopefully going to have an increase in sales in the UK once again after making some un-forgettable appearances.
To all the UK Harmonizers, a reminder to pre-order Fifth Harmony's Worth It featuring Kid Ink and the single will be released on June 21, 2015 in the UK! Here's to more success in the UK!

AwesomenessTV Fifth Harmony Takeovers

Hey Everyone! Like many of you Harmonizers, I'm always let down on Saturday every second week. Why? Because ATV is cutting down the Fifth Harmony Takeovers and replacing some with The 5H Fix...... Ummmm, yeah I have a problem: Where are my girls!? Like I loved how it was a weekly thing and new exciting things to watch but now, with this Fix Thing, its just a recap of what we already know.... thanks ATV.....

No one understands, but I at least watch like 10 takeovers (which I have already watched.....) a day. Maybe it's because I love to procrastinate and when I'm done stalking people on Facebook and Instagram like we all do, I just try to watch my girls without my parents giving me death stares for not doing work... hehe....

Anyways, back on track, ATV Takeovers are my life and when they speak to us through the cameras I'm dying. Even just a glimpse of Lauren staring at the Camera is the death of me :'( There are particular ones I always watch because they are the best and if you want to know, please watch below!

AwesomenessTV Fifth Harmony Takeovers (My Favourites):

Fifth Harmony Covers

Fifth Harmony has recently been on Clevver News on YouTube and played a round of Karaoke Roulette! Its a surprise to see all the girls showcase their beautiful voices and how great they can distort their voices into imitating another singer's! Some shined a little more than others, but honestly they are all great singers and all of them were great! I especially was surprised by Ally and Normani, where they did an impression of Shakira and Britney Spears respectively and nailed the voices spot on. I've always knew Ally could do that Shakira impression but for some reason it amazes me everytime I listen to her. Here's the little game if you missed it:

Now that this video has got me thinking, the girls voices have always been great live. Covers especially. Fifth Harmony almost slays every single song they cover and I just don't see a problem with how they sing each one. Well, I guess it's because they make some of them their own so it's hard to compare :) Here's are some Amazing covers they've done (and you may notice most of them are acoustic)

Want You Back - Cher Lloyd

Royals - Lorde

Red - Taylor Swift
Stay - Rihanna

Mirrors - Justin Timberlake (With Boyce Avenue)

They Don't Know About Us - One Direction

Lego House - Ed Sheeran

Honeymoon Avenue - Ariana Grande

When I Was Your Man - Bruno Mars (With Boyce Avenue)

All I Want For Christmas Is You - Mariah Carey

The Best One Yet That I LOVE!!!
Silent Night

Hoped you enjoyed re-watching all those covers lol, and most of them are especially throwbacks to the much younger Fifth Harmony ;)

Fifth Harmony's PETA Campaign: Angels for Animals

PETA stands for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. It is currently the largest animal rights organization with over three million members and supporters of the cause. This organization focuses their attention in four different areas of abuse such as factory farms, clothing trades, laboratories and the entertainment industry. Prevention of cruelty to animals are one of the many important issues PETA campaigns against. Through public education, animal rescues, cruelty investigations and celebrity involvements, PETA gets the job done to preserve the welfare of animals.

Speaking of celebrity involvement, our girls Fifth Harmony begin their latest philanthropy-related work. The girl group teams up with PETA's youth division peta2 to encourage fans and people alike to be an Angel for Animals.

After a fun photoshoot and posing for pictures to promote their newest campaign, Anyone anywhere can be an angel, and obviously you don't need wings or a halo to show support for animal rights. Fifth Harmony gives you quick ways in this video on how to be an Angel for Animals. Check out the video below and be sure to check out more about PETA and peta2 in the following websites to help support animal rights:

Little Mix: Black Magic!

Little Mix is coming in hot with their brand new single Black Magic!

This long anticipated single is the very start of Little Mix fighting back into the music industry. After cancelling the North American Tour, Little Mix planned on working on their third album for the rest of 2014 after the Tour ended in Europe and also continued working through early 2015. It was then in April that Little Mix's newest song was getting some much-needed attention for the girls this year.

My Review: I think that this song is like an every-day school girl song. It has the bubble-gum pop vibe that most young-girls love to listen to and this song really separates from the many RnB singles Little Mix have had. It's hard to tell if this song will be the girls' breakthough in America, but its really catchy and I hope America will get to love Little Mix as much as they do Fifth Harmony :)

'Worth It' Update

(*Note*: For the most recent Worth It Post covering August 1st to August 6th, visit here: Worth It Update #11
May 23rd, 2015)
Fifth Harmony is dominating the charts as of this moment. Landing their first Top 20 hit and making it their most successful single to date!

After a preordering Reflection back in January 2015, Harmonizers unlocked Worth It before the release of the much anticipated album. After the release, Worth It jumped as high as one of the Top Three singles on iTunes! After the release of the album, the song soon lost ground and dropped down the iTunes chart.

After the announcement of being their fourth single, Worth It began to gain more attention. It wasn't until their music video premiere at the Kids Choice Awards that they began to gain steam. Massing over a million views in a day, the girls began to dominate the Billboard Hot 100. After a debut of #82, the girls gradually picked up positions on the chart, leaping from positions #78, #52, #41, #39, #32, #21 and after maintaining the #21 position they grabbed onto #19 this week! It's been a crazy ride to the success of Worth it and everyone is really surprised on how much attention this song is getting. To be honest, I thought this song was okay because it was repetitive but I'm catching onto it now.....

With the success of Worth It, I truly wonder if their next single will catch on with the previous success they've been gaining in April and May. Speaking of the next single, what would you guys thin should be their next single from their album? Comment below or take the poll I made on the right :)

My Introduction of This Blog/Throwback Thursday!

Hey everyone! Welcome to my newest blog! I've done other blogs but that was like years ago and I gave up because of my busy life in High School. Now I want to share my love and passion for my favourite girls: FIFTH HARMONY! :D

Fifth Harmony!
I've been with these girls since the very beginning, watching The X Factor and cheering them on. I would've never imagined them doing so much more than X Factor. With new singles coming and going, Fifth Harmony is on the rise to becoming the next biggest thing the world will be talking about! I find it so crazy that I refresh my email at least 100 times a day to see if anything new has popped up haha.

In this blog, I'll be literally going through every single detail of Fifth Harmony's journey. From live performances, new song details, recent performance on the Billboard Charts, Awesomeness Takeovers and Drama, I'll be here daily to catch you up on all things Fifth Harmony :) Also, I may throw in some Little Mix for all you mixers out there because I know Little Mix is such a great girl group ;) (By the way, I don't believe that either group is better than the other. They are two different groups with different songs and achievements that I rather save the drama and accept them both)
