Billboard (USA) Charts
The song has marked me wrong once again! Worth It reaches another new-peak on the Billboard Hot 100 with one place above their previous peak, reaching #14 this week! The song has also reached a new peak for the following charts as well:
Charts: Previous Position to Current Position
Billboard Summer Songs: #17 to #16
Billboard Digital Songs: #11 to #9
Billboard Streaming Songs: #19 to #14
Billboard On-Demand Songs: #21 to #19
Billboard Dance/Mix Show Airplay: #20 to #17
The song has also debuted on the Billboard YouTube Music Chart, grabbing a position of #16! The song still holds its last week's positions on the Billboard Radio Songs Chart and Pop Songs Chart, steadying at #20 and #8 respectively, while going from #2 to #3 on the Billboard Twitter Songs Chart.
International Official Songs Charts
The most notable chart changes for Worth It on international charts that have reached new all-time highs includes the following countries:
Canada: #16 to #15
France: #38 to #34
Belgium: #17 to #16
Most of the other countries I've talked about in my last update have not peaked anymore than they did the last time. It turns out that Worth It will actually be released July 5th, 2015 in the UK. Hope you UK Harmonizers are ready to rise the charts! Hopefully next week I can talk about more international charts the girls are climbing. Check out the previous international countries I have mentioned here: Worth It Update #4
iTunes Charts
Currently on iTunes Charts in different countries, Worth It is doing pretty well staying on several iTunes charts. In America and Canada, Worth It currently sits at #11. The single is also #7 in iTunes Mexico and iTunes Philippines,#13 in Germany, #26 in iTunes Australia, #29 in iTunes Brazil and #60 in iTunes India. Check out more live-iTunes chart results here! http://musicchartfeeds.com/
Shazam Charts
Currently on Shazam, Fifth Harmony's single Worth It places #11 on the Shazam Pop Charts, #17 Globally and #18 for Overall U.S. Those are some pretty high spots and I hope the girls keep rising in Shazam! More details on Shazam will be on next week's update since I've only just gotten to know it for a week.

YouTube
The girls' music video keeps racking up major views and has managed to gain 10 million from my last update last week! That makes a total of 60 Million Views! No wonder why they placed #16 on the Billboard YouTube Music Charts. Check out their Music Video below if you haven't already!

Thanks for taking your time to read this post! Hope this post has given you all the details of the girls' success with their latest single and I can't wait to see what bigger steps in success they'll reach next week!

Little Mix: Black Magic Update #1

Hey everyone! I kinda got bored today and I thought that since I am a mixer as well, I can post some Little Mix things on here to satisfy all you mixers out there! I actually watched Little Mix back in 2011 on the X Factor and they had shown great potential on the show. And look where they are now! I'm not as obsessed with Little Mix as I am with Fifth Harmony, but I still keep tabs on Little Mix because these two girl groups are the two most successful at the moment (other than the K-Pop girl groups with like a billion views.....) So in this post, I'll be going over the history of the first single of the girl group's third album and how Black Magic has been doing!

In February 2015, Little Mix revealed that they have chosen the first single from their third album. They said that this whole album introduces a new sound the girls are exploring, and I can't wait. From the success of the first two albums, you can just imagine how Little Mix will come back strong into the music industry after spending months of working on the album. Many fans had already speculated through rumours that the single was called Black Magic and on May 14, 2015, Little Mix confirmed the song's name to be 'Black Magic'! The song was scheduled to be released on May 26th, but the single was leaked online on May 20th so they were forced to release the single earlier on May 21st. As nice as it was to hear the song early, I felt bad that the single got leaked and it was out of the girls' control.

On the very same day the single was 'released', it debuted across the country of the UK through radio airplays and under their record label Syco Music, the single was released in the United States as a single for digital download. The single was also released in Australia on May 22, 2015 for digital download as well. The single is set to be released July 10th in Ireland the UK for digital download, so you better be ready mixers! This single was honestly set as a song the girls' hoped would be their breakthrough in America. Simon Cowell also agreed that it may just be the song that the United States may love and can be turned into a hit. Simon Cowell complimented the song greatly and loves the single, much to Little Mix's surprise. Hopefully Simon can find a way to get Little Mix up there with Fifth Harmony in America, and same for Fifth Harmony in the UK. Sadly, for Little Mix, the song only reached somewhere in the 60s of the American iTunes charts and never debuted onto the Billboard Hot 100 just yet. I bet they'll have big plans to promote the single in the US and North America very soon. For other charts, the single has managed to peak up to #11 in Australia and #155 in France. The single has also peaked to #63 on the Belgium Ultratip Flanders Chart. The single has yet to gain much attention and only has around 10 million views on YouTube after the music video was released on May 29th. The single was performed for the first time live at this year's Capital Summertime Ball and they put on a great show to create much anticipation for the UK release of the single. Check out the performance below!

There isn't much to talk about for Black Magic yet, but I'm sure that Little Mix's management team will get things going. Sooner or later, Black Magic may be turned into Little Mix's most successful track! Let's hope for the best! Thanks for joining me today and I'll be posting about Black Magic weekly. Come back next week and enjoy their music video in the meantime!

Fifth Harmony News Session

Hey everyone! In this post, I'll be going over all the latest news regarding Fifth Harmony. I thought that individually, all these minor news reports wouldn't require a full-on blog post so I'm combining them all together here to make it quick and easy. Enjoy!

Premios Juventud (Awards Show)
On June 10th 2015, it was announced that Fifth Harmony was taking their dance moves and musical talents to the 11th Annual Premios Juventud Awards Show on July 16, 2015! Premios Juventud is an awards show for Spanish-Speaking celebrities in areas of film, music, sports, fashion and pop culture. Past winners include Shakira, Jennifer Lopez, Antonio Banderas and Juanes. I can imagine Fifth Harmony may be performing Worth It, or even better, performing in Spanish or performing a newly announced single! I can't wait for them to perform! They always have the best live performances and they're always so stunning to watch.

Worth It Update
Check out my latest post to see Fifth Harmony's latest success with their latest single Worth It

Jimmy Kimmel Live
Fifth Harmony will be performing tonight on the late night show Jimmy Kimmel Live! Performing hit single Worth It, the girls may be able to introduce the single to many more viewers and wide-spread audiences who watch Jimmy Kimmel Live. The girls will slay, so you better tune in tonight!

Hotel Transylvania 2
Just announced June 16, 2015, the girls are introducing a new single called I'm in Love With a Monster for the upcoming animated film Hotel Transylvania 2. Minor parts of the song can be heard throughout the first half of the trailer, but you can listen the full song after it is released next month (which I believe is July 7, 2015?). I'm already in love with Lauren's part <3
Watch the trailer and listen closely around 0:48 to 1:20.

Disney's New Princess: Moana
Remember the post I did about the rumour that Dinah Jane Hansen could be voicing Disney's next Polynesian Princess Moana? Rumours have been confirmed that Dinah Jane had actually auditioned for the part and she's hoping to hear back soon!
" I'm crossing my fingers .. My hair.. My eyes hoping I get it thanks I appreciate you "

The role is absolutely perfect because the animated film is a musical, and Dinah Jane has a killer voice! I think I read somewhere that a guy said one of the 5H members was being taught how to act and I bet that'd be Dinah Jane.

If our girl lands the role, she has at least a year and a couple months to voice Moana here and there. I can't wait to find out who plays Moana! The film will be released in November 23, 2016 but keep your eyes open for any news surrounding the new Disney Animated Film!

Next Shows and Appearances (In June)
Here are dates to some of the next shows Fifth Harmony has set for the future:
June 18: Jimmy Kimmel Live (Los Angeles, CA)
June 20: 2015 B96 Pepsi Summer Bash (Bridgeview, IL)
June 23: San Diego County Fair (Del Mar, CA)
June 24: Live with Kelly & Michael (New York, NY)
June 28: Show of the Summer 2015 (Hershey, PA)

Worth It Update #4

Worth It has proven me wrong! Its still got it going! After Worth It stayed in #18 last week, I predicted it would start dropping. But nope! Its still rising! In this post, I'll be talking about Worth It's success lately. Hope you enjoy!
(*Note*: For the most recent Worth It Post covering August 1st to August 6th, visit here: Worth It Update #11
June 18th, 2015)

Like I've just said, Worth It has climbed to a new spot in the Billboard Hot 100. The single has reached a new high of #15! Congratulations to Fifth Harmony on their first Top 15 hit. Think we can score Top 10, harmonizers? I think we can, because the harmonizers came through for their girls this past week by buying and gifting Worth It on iTunes to jump from #12 to #7 in matters of only a day or two! Crazy!!!! That goes to show how much Harmonizers will push through to give their girls the support they need!

On terms of other Billboard Charts, Worth It is still holding it's own! Worth It made its debut in the Billboard Adult Pop Songs Chart with #39. The single has reached a new high on the Billboard US Mainstream Top 40/Pop Songs Chart, managing to leap from #9 to this week's #8. The single also reached #20 for Billboard's Radio Songs Chart and #19 for Billboard's Streaming Songs chart. The song has remained steady on some charts, not changing its position on: Billboard's Songs of the Summer (#17), Billboard's Digital Songs (#11) and Billboard's Rhythmic Songs (#20). The song has also descended into lower positions on other charts like: Billboard's Dance/Mix Show Airplay (#19 to #20) and Billboard's On Demand Songs (From #19 to #21). Worth It may not be as successful on charts this time around, but with Harmonizers' continuing to push for their girls, you never know!

For international charts, Fifth Harmony is rising! In Canada, the song went from #21 to #16! The song has now claimed a top 10 spot at #10 for Malaysia, and still holds impressive Top 10 Peaks in other countries: Lebanon (#1), Israel (#1), Greece's Digital Songs (#6) and Luxembourg Digital Songs (#10). Worth It has been in the Top 20 for these following countries (besides Canada): Philippines (#11), Thailand (#15), Germany (#16), Belgium (#17), Indonesia (#18), Slovakia (#19) and Singapore (#20). A notable change for another international chart is France, charging from #53 to #38. Fifth Harmony is killing it internationally! To all my UK Harmonizers, don't forget that Worth It will be released this Sunday, June 21, 2015! Pre-Order it Today!

Worth It will forever be known as Fifth Harmony's breakthrough in the music industry (song-wise). The single is one of their best ever chart-performers and surpasses their previous song's peak in the Hot 100 by 15 spots. There's no question that we will be seeing more from Fifth Harmony in the future! For now, YouTube views are accumulating 1 million per day and they have reached 50 Million so far! With 500K likes, how many views will this music video reach? Check out the music video below if you haven't already. Thanks for joining me today and talk to you later!

Little Mix and Fifth Harmony: Friendships/Fandom Feuds

Hey everyone! After a trip to the UK, Fifth Harmony are back to make several appearances around America before starting the Summer Reflection Tour (Which I'll be posting about this in July)! But, there's just one thing I forgot to mention during the girls' time at the UK..... They hung out with Little Mix! It's so cool seeing these two girl groups together, who have both faced huge amounts of success in their careers. The problem that is still occurring today is the fandom feud between mixers and harmonizers. I can promise you that on every Little Mix and Fifth Harmony video, you see something like "Little Mix is better" on a 5H Video or you see "Fifth Harmony is better" on a LM video. In this post, I'll be writing about both girl groups, the fandoms, the similarities and the differences. Hope you enjoy!

So during early 2013, the two girl groups hadn't made direct contact and haven't met each other yet. The only time at all when they even gave a glimpse at each other was at the Kids Choice Awards. Lauren mentioned that the two girl groups happily waved at each other from a distance but that was about as close they were to meeting the UK girls.
But they did meet up for a quick photo with Little Mix and Demi Lovato at the Teen Choice Awards in late 2013:

It wasn't until the Demi Lovato's Neon Lights Tour that they became formerly introduced to each other as the opening acts for Demi Lovato. I can imagine the two girl groups hanging out in between sound checks, eating food and travelling towards new pit stops of the tour. Check out the two girl groups on Fuse, interviewing each other (and a picture to go along their time they had to hang out with each other)
Fifth Harmony Interviews Little Mix (Video)
Little Mix Interviews Fifth Harmony (Video)
Neon Lights Tour Photo (Hanging Out Together)

After I'm sure that the two girl groups, Demi Lovato and other opening acts had tons of time getting acquainted with one another, they're all friends. Little Mix had barely shown up to America ever since the Neon Lights Tour, as they released the single Salute and headlined their second tour The Salute Tour in support of their second album. Touring from mid-May to the end of July all around Europe, Little Mix had been putting on great shows and were headed to America after their European leg of the tour. But sadly, they never appeared in America for the second leg due to decisions to cancel the North America leg of the tour because they wanted to work on their third album. All is forgiven when they still made appearances in the U.S. and Canada to perform a couple songs, but never met up with 5H for the time being.

Before Fifth Harmony's UK Trip at the end of May, Little Mix and Fifth Harmony never saw each other for the four months in the beginning of 2015. They did talk about one another in interviews when they were asked a question about the opposing group. Here's an example of Little Mix talking about Fifth Harmony:

Words of wisdom from Jesy and Leigh-Anne. There's no comparison to make because both girl groups are completely different. Same with Normani Kordei Hamilton, who shot down  the rumoured rivalry between the two girl groups in Fifth Harmony's Sugarscape Interview. Click the link to see the interview.

As Normani said, "There is no competition... People try to make it out to be girls against girls but both of us (as groups) are all about girl power, empowering women to stick up for each other and support each other. That's what we do."

Harmonizers and Mixers have been going at it probably ever since Fifth Harmony was formed on the X Factor U.S. Season 2 in 2012 (There is actually no real evidence because anyone can say anything at any given time, really....). It's always 'Little Mix is Better!' or 'Fifth Harmony is Better!' and to all
my 'in-betweeners', I get how annoying it is that fandoms always compare. Fans go as far as being rude and cussing about the girl group they hate and influence other fans to do the same. It isn't right to be calling women 'names' (I don't want to use bad language....) and think it's alright. People use derogatory terms that they don't know what the definition is (the truth!). Feuds between fandoms eventually extend to other fandoms as well, and you may as well call it 'Modern Society's World War III'.........

Personally, I think this fandom feud is idiotic. It really has gone too far because people are really not smart enough to be more optimistic about things. If you don't like something, then don't care about it! Simple as that. Leave what you hate alone, and just surround yourself with things that you love. It's a waste of your time to focus on things that aren't important in your life, to be honest. Hear me out: If I'm a Harmonizer, why should I waste my time trying to convince a mixer that Little Mix sucks (which they don't!)? Same thing when I'm a mixer, it doesn't make sense to complain about Fifth Harmony to harmonizers.

Fifth Harmony and Little Mix are friends in real life. Why can't harmonizers and mixers be friends too? Both Girl Groups are unique in their own ways. They have different outfits, different voices and different managements. One thing they do have in common: empowering youth around the world. Smarten up all you haters and learn to love both groups!

Thanks so much for taking your time to read this super long post. I appreciate all your love and support. Here's a photo of 5H and LM to enjoy back in Fifth Harmony's trip to the UK early June this month! #BuyWorthItoniTunes #BuyBlackMagiconiTunes

Photo of the day: Back when Fifth Harmony's single BO$$ was just being released and the girls partnered up with Do Something to create the #ImABOSS campaign to encourage young people. The girls' motives for this campaign were to put confidence and kindness into the youth and its about owning and sharing what makes you confident and strong.

Fifth Harmony: Unplugged

Hey everyone! So recently, on Worth It Update #3, I showed a video from the 4Music YouTube Channel of Fifth Harmony's acoustic performance of Worth It. And they slay me every time when they showcase their vocals in acoustics. I love how they change things up in acoustic versions and make it more original than it already is. All 5 of them have qualities in their voices that shine through differently but putting all those unique voices together, it's really just magic before our eyes. So in this post today, I'm going to be talking about each acoustic performance I truly love of their singles and why I love them. (Please keep in mind that I do not own any of these pictures and that my choice of the acoustic performances are what I feel/know is the best acoustic performance in my opinion. Feel free to tell me any other acoustic performances that are to die for and I'll put in on here :) )

Miss Movin' On
The ultimate Fifth Harmony song, every harmonizer loves the good ol' Fetus Harmony days with their debut single. When all of us fetus harmonizers were just balling our eyes listening to their first single ever, jeez I will never forget the day that started their career. Miss Movin' On is definitely the ultimate throwback right now and with this cheesy movin' on-heart break video, it shows how much Fifth Harmony has grown. Check out the original music video if you haven't already!

Now for the acoustic version, I believe this single does give the girls a chance to show off some good vocals. With Ally getting a chance to sing by taking Lauren's second solo, Normani putting in some talent here and there, Dinah killing it as always, Camila shining with her original-raw voice and Lauren also giving us that power we need, this song has it all and the acoustic version just gives us beautiful energy. My favourite acoustic performance of this single was during their On Air with Ryan Seacrest session. The harmonies were very beautiful and the harmonies at the end just makes me feel like I'm in heaven. Those harmonies were in-sync and spot on, I just can't express myself on how beautiful this performance was.

BO$$ (Boss)
BO$$ is full of sass and girl-power that they give off so much energy, either plugged or un-plugged performances. Their music video did get a lot of people's attention and BO$$ would probably be known as the girls' first attempt to finally breakthrough into the music industry. Becoming their first Top 50 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 and surpassing Miss Movin' On by 33 spots into #43, the song is just really catchy to listen to. This song is also the most viewed YouTube music video out of all their singles, with over 60 million views and counting. Check out their music video here!

For their acoustic performance, I find myself loving their performance from Shazam. Camila and Normani kill it with the catchy chorus, singing together and fulfilling my ears with joy. They really do sound good together and I just love their little duets. Ally and Lauren sound good together as well in the bridge and I wished Dinah got to sing a part, it would've made my day if I got to hear her sing in BO$$. Check out their acoustic performance here!

Sledgehammer
In Sledgehammer, it's similar to Miss Movin' On (and no, it does not share any resemblance to Miley Cyrus' Wrecking Ball for god's sake....., but it makes sense if Sledgehammer was the prologue before Wrecking Ball haha). Talking about love once again and showcasing their awe-inspiring vocals, this single surpasses their last single BO$$'s success by 3 spots to become their first Top 40 hit at #40. (On a side note, if you haven't seen their live performance of Sledgehammer at the MTV EMAs, it's a must see! Even though it's not acoustic, I just can't get over how amazing that performance was....) Anyways, I am still upset Dinah didn't get a part in the single ONCE AGAIN, but she did take Lauren's place in the single on the Honda Stage at the iHeart Radio Theatre. Camila does take up most of the single and she powers through almost the entire song, but it still sounds good regardless. If you haven't seen the music video or heart the song yet, check it out here!

For acoustic versions, there many different performances they've done where Camila changes up the start of the song and it is so beautiful. That's one reason why Camila sings the majority of songs, because she has such a beautiful voice and it's so versatile, if you know what I mean. The way she changes up some of her solos are just so magnificent! Also, don't forget about Normani! She is definitely improving her voice and the little beautiful runs, like wow! Good job on her :) For the acoustic performance choice, I'm choosing to do another Shazam Top 20 performance once again. Check it out right here if you haven't seen it!

Worth It
Their latest and most successful single to date, Worth It is the girls' breakthrough in the music industry. Being the first Top 20 and claiming #17 on the Billboard Hot 100, it's so catchy that there's a reason why it has received success. I'll do less talking on this single because I've talked about it a whole lot on my other posts and I know you guys already understand my point with this song. Check out the music video and the song if you haven't already!

For the acoustic performance, and like I've said above, I'm in love with their acoustic performance on the 4Music channel. It is so beautiful and I love their little additions of harmonies. Despite a random voice at 1:20, when Camila says 'It's all on you' and apparently one of the girls said the same words but none of them opened their mouths......, I just love it. We'll keep it at that ;)

For this post, I said I would only do the singles they had released because I'm on a little time crunch here so sorry if this post seemed a little rushed but I hoped you enjoyed reading and watching the performances! If you want more, check out acoustic performances of Me & My Girls, Reflection and We Know below! Please make sure to check back to my blog now and then! Thanks!
