PETA stands for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. It is currently the largest animal rights organization with over three million members and supporters of the cause. This organization focuses their attention in four different areas of abuse such as factory farms, clothing trades, laboratories and the entertainment industry. Prevention of cruelty to animals are one of the many important issues PETA campaigns against. Through public education, animal rescues, cruelty investigations and celebrity involvements, PETA gets the job done to preserve the welfare of animals.Speaking of celebrity involvement, our girls Fifth Harmony begin their latest philanthropy-related work. The girl group teams up with PETA's youth division peta2 to encourage fans and people alike to be an Angel for Animals.
