Worth It Update #9: July 17th to July 23rd, 2015

Hey Harmonizers! It's time for this week's Worth It update from July 17th to July 23rd, 2015. I'll be covering all of the 'chart changes' that have happened in the past week so I hope this'll help you keep up with the on-going success of the latest single!
(This Update will feature photos from Fifth Harmony's performance at Premios Juventud 2015. I do not own any of these photos and they can be found through Google/Bing Search.)

American Charts (Billboard)
Here are the chart positions for Worth It on the American Billboard Charts:
Charts 'Worth It' has shown an increase in position
Billboard Pop Songs: #7 to #5 (Re-Peak)
Billboard Digital Songs: #16 to #11
Billboard On-Demand Songs: #20 to #19
Billboard Twitter Top Tracks: #3 to #2
Billboard YouTube Music Charts: #12 to #10 (New Peak)

Charts 'Worth It' Hasn't Changed Positions
Billboard Hot 100: #14 (Three Weeks Straight)
Billboard Dance/Mix Show Airplay: #11 (Three Weeks Straight)
Billboard Radio Songs: #10

Charts 'Worth It' has shown a decrease in position
Billboard Streaming Songs: #14 to #15
Billboard Songs of the Summer Chart: #14 to #15
Billboard Rhythmic Songs: Dropped Below Top 20 (No Specific Details Yet)

The changes are pretty steady and there's the same amount of the change as last week. The single has been #14 for three straight weeks now on the Billboard Hot 100, holding its position for a while now. While staying strong, will the single still escalate a few spots or start dropping down once again?

For the other Billboard Charts, I don't think any of them will reach any new peaks soon. It'll be rather a rollercoaster of increases and decreases until new singles around the world and in the United States will take over the charts and send Worth It down. But will Fifth Harmony release a new single to keep their success going? Only time will tell.

International Charts
Internationally, the charts that Worth It have received new peaks this week are:
Significant Changes/Debuts
South Korea (International Chart): #35 to #26 (+9)
Italy: #41 (Debut)
Brazil: #77 to #63 (+14)

Minor Changes (But Still Important)
Czech Republic: #7 to #6 (+1)
Australia: #12 to #11 (+1)
Switzerland: #22 to #21 (+1)
Ireland: #29 to #23 (+6)
Belgium (Wallonia): #27 to #26 (+1)
Netherlands (Dutch Top 40): #27 to #26 (+1)
Netherlands (Single Top 100): #31 to #27 (+4)

Making their debut in Italy was one of the only highlights on the international charts for this week. Many other changes are rather minor and only show little growth. It's a little sad that there's nothing to follow up the amazing debuts at the UK and Scotland at #3 and the single is dropping down some positions to make room for new singles that have been released. This includes Little Mix's Black Magic which debuts at #1 in Scotland and the UK! (I'll be updating ya'll on Black Magic next week on all of the changes within the past month). Could Worth It still climb up the international charts? Or do you think the world is moving on to new singles after Worth it has been out for over 4 months now?

iTunes Charts (As of July 23rd, 2015 6:00 P.M. in Alberta, Canada)
Here's what I'm currently seeing on the iTunes chart in America and internationally
(Last week's position in brackets; Position Increase/Decrease)
iTunes Philippines: #3 (Last Week: #15, +12)
iTunes Mexico: #4 (Last Week: #7; +3)
iTunes Australia: #9 (Last Week: #9; +0)
iTunes Brazil/Brasil: #10 (Last Week: #6; -4)
iTunes Canada: #11 (Last Week: #11; +0)
Tunes UK: #15 (Last Week: #11; -4)
iTunes France: #15 (Last Week: #16; +1)
iTunes USA: #16 (Last Week: #11; -5)
iTunes Ireland: #25 (Last Week: #25; +0)
iTunes Austria: #25 (Last Week: #29; +4)
iTunes Germany: #44 (Last Week: #51; +7)
iTunes India: #58 (Last Week: #61; +3)

All of the iTunes charts that I am currently monitoring are showing some minor improvements for Worth It. The single is climbing the charts slowly and holding its own on the majority of the international iTunes Charts. The most notable different would be iTunes Philippines, which Worth It has jumped 12 spots to secure a position in the Top 10 at #3. Mexico is also doing very well, maintaining a top 10 position for Worth It by jumping up three spots. Overall, iTunes Charts aren't doing too bad internationally for the single. The minor changes prove why Worth It hasn't been climbing up the official international charts from above.

Certifications
There have been one new certification in terms of single sales and downloads for Worth It. To keep the Platinum certifications going, Worth It managed to take home a Platinum Certification from Music Canada. After selling 80,000 singles through sales and digital downloads, the girls are happy to now receive a platinum certification outside of America. Congratulations girls!

YouTube Emergency!
Over the weekend, harmonizers received a terrible surprise from YouTube when they took off the Worth It Music Video. Harmonizers were both saddened and angry and managed to trend #WeWantWorthItBackOnYouTube. After accomplishing 100 million views and achieving a VEVO certification, harmonizers were worried that taking the music video away would take away the certification as well but VEVO claimed that they still had the music video in their app/website for all of us to watch. The music video officially returned to YouTube the next day after some consulting and contained the same amount of views when it was taken off.

YouTube initially took off the video due to 'repetitiveness' or 'inappropriate content' and some harmonizers heard that the music video was taken off due to two of the members both being under-aged when filming the supposed 'sexual' music video. Just to set the record straight, the girls are all 18 and over now and this music was NOT supposed to be 'sexual' at all. This music video was meant to empower women and many different people to be proud of themselves and show confidence. These girls are proud of who they are and it doesn't matter about what they wear, if they are proud of their bodies then they can show some skin if they like to. No one has the right to tell girls or any other people what to do.

But other reports have confirmed that the video got 'accidentally' taken off. A YouTube Spokesperson has also commented that mistakes like these sometimes happen where videos and YouTube accounts get mistakenly deactivated or removed, sometimes due to improper flagging or reports. In my opinion, this whole situation is in the past and as long as the music video isn't tampered like that ever again, I'll be fine with it.....

The music video is back with over 110 million views and you can officially watch the music video oncee again!

Thank You!
