Worth It Update #10: July 24th, 2015 to July 31st 2015

Hey everyone! I have here this week's Worth It Update! Sorry this was posted late, I had some emergencies recently I needed to take care of but I'm back to give you the full coverage of what's been goin' on with Worth It. This update will cover from July 24th to July 31st, 2015. Hope this will help ya'll keep up with the continuing success! (This Update will feature pictures from Fifth Harmony's appearance last week on the BET Players Awards. I do not own any of these photos and they can be found using Google/Bing Search)

American Charts (Billboard)
Here are the chart positions for Worth It on the American Billboard Charts:
Charts 'Worth It' has shown an increase in position
Billboard Hot 100: #14 to #12 (New Peak!)
Billboard Adult Pop Songs: #28 to #24 (New Peak)
Billboard Rhythmic Songs: #20 to #19 (New Peak)
Billboard Streaming Songs: #21 to #13 (New Peak)
Billboard Dance/Mix Show Airplay: #11 to #8 (New Peak)

Charts 'Worth It' Hasn't Changed Positions
Billboard 'Songs of the Summer' Chart: #15
Billboard Radio Songs: #10 (Two Weeks Straight)
Billboard Pop Songs: #5
Billboard YouTube Music Charts: #10

Charts 'Worth It' has shown a decrease in position
Billboard Digital Songs: #11 to #14
Billboard Twitter Top Tracks: #2 to #7
Billboard On-Demand Songs: #19 to #20

There were some minor changes and drops on the charts recently but the most significant improvement was on the Billboard Hot 100! The girls have been in the 14th position of the chart for the past 3 weeks and now they've finally gained some steam to step up two places to a new all-time high in #12! I will admit, that this single has been out since January 2015 and this is probably the longest amount of success they've had for one single. Sure, there was BO$$ and Sledgehammer, but those singles were only popular for about a month or two.

The other Billboard Charts show decent changes and not much out of the ordinary other than a little rollercoaster of ups and downs this past week. Overall, I'm so happy they got #12 on the Hot 100 and let us all pray they can reach Top 10!

Normani Kordei's Second Passion: Dance

Normani Kordei is 1 out of the 5 stunning ladies in Fifth Harmony. Bringing her unique set of vocals to the table, Normani knows how to effectively utilize her voice and bring in some whistle notes when needed. Additionally to singing on stage with her four other gals, Normani knows when to kick it into high gear and put on stunning performances for the audience. Normani kills her dance moves every time she gets up on stage to perform. With a former background of dance, many would say Normani is probably the most stunning performer out of all of Fifth Harmony. Everytime you see Normani on stage, you know she's turning it on and killing her choreography.

Normani at Wango Tango 2015

Normani has been dancing and singing ever since she was 4 years old. From then on, she grew up with her love of both passions and continued to progress to become the amazing singer and dancer she is today. Normani has admitted a few years ago that she was sometimes a shy person. But when it came to the stage and the spotlight, Normani becomes fierce and feisty as she owns her performance. From dance recitals, beauty pageants or modelling on catwalks, Normani presented herself to judges and critics with confidence and perfection.

Worth It Update #9: July 17th to July 23rd, 2015

Hey Harmonizers! It's time for this week's Worth It update from July 17th to July 23rd, 2015. I'll be covering all of the 'chart changes' that have happened in the past week so I hope this'll help you keep up with the on-going success of the latest single!
(This Update will feature photos from Fifth Harmony's performance at Premios Juventud 2015. I do not own any of these photos and they can be found through Google/Bing Search.)
(*Note*: For the most recent Worth It Post covering August 1st to August 6th, visit here: Worth It Update #11

Fifth Harmony During Their Premios Juventud Performance of Worth It

American Charts (Billboard)
Here are the chart positions for Worth It on the American Billboard Charts:
Charts 'Worth It' has shown an increase in position
Billboard Pop Songs: #7 to #5 (Re-Peak)
Billboard Digital Songs: #16 to #11
Billboard On-Demand Songs: #20 to #19
Billboard Twitter Top Tracks: #3 to #2
Billboard YouTube Music Charts: #12 to #10 (New Peak)

Charts 'Worth It' Hasn't Changed Positions
Billboard Hot 100: #14 (Three Weeks Straight)
Billboard Dance/Mix Show Airplay: #11 (Three Weeks Straight)
Billboard Radio Songs: #10

Charts 'Worth It' has shown a decrease in position
Billboard Streaming Songs: #14 to #15
Billboard Songs of the Summer Chart: #14 to #15
Billboard Rhythmic Songs: Dropped Below Top 20 (No Specific Details Yet)

The changes are pretty steady and there's the same amount of the change as last week. The single has been #14 for three straight weeks now on the Billboard Hot 100, holding its position for a while now. While staying strong, will the single still escalate a few spots or start dropping down once again?

For the other Billboard Charts, I don't think any of them will reach any new peaks soon. It'll be rather a rollercoaster of increases and decreases until new singles around the world and in the United States will take over the charts and send Worth It down. But will Fifth Harmony release a new single to keep their success going? Only time will tell.

Blog Update: What's Next On My Blog

Hey everyone! I'm currently taking a school course in the summer to get ahead in my school year so I don't have a busy-last-year of high school. I have to give priority to this summer to my class but that doesn't mean I won't be posting on my blog. I might not be posting daily like I usually do but I will guarantee you my Worth It updates and sometimes a little Black Magic updates here and there for all you mixers. Here's everything I will be posting in the future so I hope you like my choices!

My Future Posts (Date):
  • Worth It Updates (Weekly)
  • Little Mix: Black Magic Updates (Every 2 Weeks/Here and There)

  • Normani's Second Passion: Dancing (This Week/Next Week)

I won't be doing as much Fifth Harmony Photos of the Day anymore but I will be doing some throwback Thursday posts. I will also give a brief summaries of awards show that the girls will appear at, but that is from today and onward. I didn't have time to do Premios Juventud sadly, but the girls did win two awards and presented an award to Pitbull. Hope to catch ya'll later with more blog posts! Which of my future posts will you be looking forward to?

Overall, not bad. It does make sense that Worth It may be seeing it's final glimpse of success before settling down the charts. The single soaring ever since end of March when they've released their music video for the single. After four consecutive months, the single is starting to lose steam and it may be time for the We'll see how the girls do next week on the charts!

The Summer Reflection Tour: The Full Details All For You!

Hey everyone! In this post, I'll be giving you the full details on the upcoming Reflection Tour the girls will be headlining, their opening acts and the previous spring Reflection Tour! This will be the summer edition of the tour and their second leg of the year! After the success of the first leg, why wouldn't they go on for a second leg? Let's go over all the details!
(Some of these Images in this post are provided by Gettyimages.ca and they have the best photos, with the exception of the minor watermark they leave on their photos)

Flashback to April 24th, 2015, Fifth Harmony hosted a pool party with fans to make a special announcement that they will be touring in the summer for the second leg of the Reflection Tour, now called The Summer Reflection Tour or Reflection: The Summer Tour. Fifth Harmony and their team felt like they didn't reach every fan in their last tour and wanted to make sure that every fan got a chance to see the girls this time around. This also revealed the art for the Summer Reflection Tour, which can be seen above and below. You can see the opening acts which are Debby Ryan + The Never Ending, Natalie La Rose and Bea Miller, but I'll get to them later in this post.

The Reflection Tour was created originally to promote the girls' debut album Reflection and for Fifth Harmony to meet all of their hard-working harmonizers who have gave them the success Fifth Harmony has achieved. The Reflection Tour was Fifth Harmony's first ever major headlining tour, with opening acts Jasmine V, Mahogany Lox and Jacob Whitesides by the girl group's side to put on a great show. And might I say, the Reflection Tour was a huge success! With harmonizers selling out many venues, over half of the 23-stop tour was sold out! I believe I faintly remember that the tour grossed over $500,000? I know that was the minimum they had achieved but I believe there's more due to sold out VIP tickets and venues. Performances were more than perfection and it was Worth It to see the girls perform. Many songs were adjusted to give audiences more energy and their dance moves are killer. A set-list combined of tracks from their debut EP Better Together and debut album Reflection were performed and it's magic in front of our eyes watching them. Sadly, the tour was mostly exclusive to the U.S. and the only exception was Toronto, Canada. But to anyone that ever missed out on the Reflection Tour, our friends from Yahoo filmed and live stream the girls' concert on March 24, 2015. High quality and clear voices, check it out below! It's amazing, I couldn't even breathe after I finished the whole concert. They're stunning, talented, beautiful and all-kinds of amazing!

The Reflection Tour (Boston, Massachusetts)
(1 Hour and 13 Minutes)
By the way, did you see the audience singing Them Girls Be Like at 29:20? Amazing!

Now back to present day, are you harmonizers fans of any of the opening acts? I am, I love all three to be honest! Haha, well I'm not a die-hard fan like I am a harmonizer, but I do try my best to keep up with today's music and up and coming artists. Like I have mentioned above, there will be three main opening acts for the summer tour. Let me give ya'll a brief summary of these opening acts:

Opening Acts
Bea Miller

Any 'fetus' harmonizers here? Remember the old X Factor Days when Fifth Harmony was a contestant competing for that recording contract? Bea Miller was also a contestant and made it to the Top 10 and finished 9th. She is now an up and coming artist who is ready to break into the music industry. Her EP debuted at #64 on the Billboard 200, her debut single Young Blood peaked at #105 on the Billboard Hot 100 and with over 20 million views on YouTube, she is not off to a bad start. Bea will be releasing a full length album on July 24th, in the midst of touring. Hopefully harmonizers will give Bea the love and support they have been giving Fifth Harmony and possibly boost Bea's career into great success. I personally love her latest single Fire N' Gold, she has a beautiful voice and shows why she has gotten far in The X Factor US Season. Check out her music video and buy her music on iTunes!

Natalie La Rose

If you're talking about trends, Netherlands' Natalie La Rose's debut platinum-single Somebody featuring Jeremih is a hot topic to talk about. Grasping #10 on the Billboard Hot 100, getting spot #2 in the UK and over 85 million views on YouTube, Natalie is making a name for herself in this industry. Natalie La Rose only released one single to achieve a great amount of success and the world is waiting to see what else she has in store for them because she's only gotten started. By attending the Summer Reflection Tour, it's possible we can get to hear Natalie's future songs that may be on her future album. Can't wait to hear what she has to offer in the tour!
If you're ever wondering how she may know Fifth Harmony, they did perform at the 2015 Radio Disney Music Awards consecutively. So they may have had a chance to get acquainted with each other before taking the stage.
Check out her music video of her debut single below!

Debby Ryan + The Never Ending
Recognize Debby Ryan? The Disney Channel Actress has become quite a talented star, becoming both an actress and a sensational singer. Debby Ryan has an awesome voice and singing on shows and movies she has starred in, Debby Ryan decided to form a secret band in 2012. The band became public near the end of 2013. During the course of 2014, the band has released many singles and debuted Mulholland Drive as their first single. They soon released their debut EP on June 24th, 2014. Hoping to become big in the music industry, the band is currently working on their full-length album and writing new songs. Hopefully, with the help of harmonizers, The Never Ending can become successful. Listen to their debut single Mulholland Drive below!

Headlining Act
Fifth Harmony

What do I think will be changed for this summer's Reflection Tour?
  • I believe that the set-list for the upcoming tour will be different for Fifth Harmony. Most of the songs will probably be from the album Reflection but we never know if the set list will have the same songs. Could they possibly be ready to perform live versions of Them Girls Be Like or Body Rock? There is a possibility and it'll give us something new to watch.
  • We can also expect some new covers of today's hits. I'm sure there'll be new covers that could be performed, just like Take Me to Church, and we have never heard from them. It'll be a refresher to hear new spins on big hits
  • One thing I had in mind are different songs from their EP Better Together. I think we may get a chance to hear Leave My Heart Out of This, Don't Wanna Dance Alone or even Me & My Girls. We never know, there's a chance these songs will be performed
  • New dance moves? I've seen some pics the girls have shown, rehearsing choreography with their choreographer before their upcoming tour. Maybe they're rehearsing the same dance moves, but who knows!

Again, I faintly remember the girls possibly saying that this leg of the tour may be better than the last one and they could be pumping up for a bigger and better show. Can you guess what changes Fifth Harmony may be doing for the tour?

Get Ready for Teen Choice Awards 2015!

Hey everyone ! Teen Choice Awards is just around the corner and I want to give you the full scoop and journey Fifth Harmony has had with the annual awards show. Hope you like this post!

Teen Choice Awards 2013

Introducing some background behind Fifth Harmony's appearance at the Teen Choice Awards includes their first ever appearance in 2013 with Demi Lovato. After 1 year of the X Factor, the girl group joined Demi Lovato at the 2013 Teen Choice Awards to present the Acuvue Inspire Award to Nick Jonas. But that's not all they did, Fifth Harmony met up with several other artists and had fun
watching the Teen Choice Awards itself. They managed to meet up with X Factor UK Winners Little Mix and Alums One Direction and take some pictures!

Teen Choice Awards 2014

One year later, after Fifth Harmony released 2 new singles along with their debut EP, the girls looked to win some awards the 2014 Teen Choice Awards. They were nominated for 6 Teen Choice Awards!
  • Choice Music Group
  • Choice Breakout Group
  • Choice Summer Group
  • Choice Break-Up Song (Miss Movin' On)
  • Choice Single: Group (BO$$)
  • Choice Fanatic Fans (#Harmonizers)
That's awesome! Harmonizers tried their best to vote as much as they could to win their idols some awards, but sadly we only won one award out of the six. The award was for Choice Single: Group for BO$$. But it's not a big deal that 5H didn't win all the awards, the Teen Choice Awards is filled with mega-superstars who have fandoms that have existed longer than harmonizers at the time so I could see why harmonizers didn't really have a chance to win some awards for Fifth Harmony. But overall it was a good night. The girls got to present the Choice Web Star: Male and Choice Web Star: Female award with Arrow star Colton Haynes to recipients Tyler Oakley and Bethany Mota.

Teen Choice Awards 2015

Now onto this year's Teen Choice Awards, there is a lot going for Fifth Harmony. After 4 single releases, an EP and their debut album Reflection, the girls are once again nominated for 6 awards this year! And they are:
  • Choice Song: Group (Worth It)
  • Choice Summer Song (Worth It)
  • Choice Love Song (Sledgehammer)
  • Choice Music Group: Female
  • Choice Female Hottie
  • Choice Summer Music Star: Group
The awards show will be happening next month on August 16, 2015 and will include performances by Little Mix and R5. Sadly, Fifth Harmony will not be performing but with their partnership with Candie's, the girls will be presenting this year's Choice Candie's Style Icon.

Hopefully this time around the girls will do more than just win one award once again. It is very tough to win Teen Choice Awards, as there are 5-6 nominees in each category who also have hard-working fandoms. I believe that since Fifth Harmony won the Favorite New Artist award at the 'younger version' of the TCAs called the Nickelodeon's Kid Choice Awards, I think we will have a strong enough fan base to win big this year. Anything can happen, and if you haven't voted yet you can visit this link if you're in America (sorry international viewers!): http://vote.teenchoice.com/
You can also vote by using social media such as Facebook, Instagram and twitter and following this format:
  1. Put #Teen Choice at the start of the post
  2. Followed by #Category (e.g. #ChoiceMusicGroupFemale)
  3. Then place the nominee's name in with either @'name' or #'name' (e.g. @FifthHarmony or #FifthHarmony)
And there you go! Get voting harmonizers! We can do this for our girls!

Worth It Update #7

Hey Harmonizers! I'm back with this week's official Worth It Update for the week of July 11th. Fifth Harmony's latest single is currently experiencing many international success, although the single experiences a slight rollercoaster throughout the USA Billboard Charts. Let's get caught up, shall we?
(This post will feature throwbacks to Fifth Harmony's appearance at the Today Show to prepare for tomorrow's Live Mini-Concert!)
(*Note*: For the most recent Worth It Post covering August 1st to August 6th, visit here: Worth It Update #11

Billboard (USA) Charts
Worth It, like I have said above, is a rollercoaster of success and downfalls at this point. While receiving some new peaks on some charts, the single is losing ground on other charts slowly. But the girls' latest single managed to sneak up the Billboard Hot 100 for this week, re-peaking at #14! That's pretty good and it just shows that Harmonizers haven't given up on sales and streaming yet. We'll see how the single does for next week's Hot 100 Chart. Below I have made a summary of all the changes on Billboard Charts that involves Worth It.

Charts 'Worth It' has shown an increase in position
Billboard Hot 100: #15 to #14 (Re-Peak)
Billboard Pop Songs: #7 to #5 (New Peak)
Billboard Adult Top 40: #35 to #33 (New Peak)
Billboard Radio Songs: #15 to #11 (New Peak)
Billboard Rhythmic Songs: #22 to #20 (Re-Peak)

Charts 'Worth It' Hasn't Changed Positions
Billboard Dance/Mix Show Airplay: #11
Billboard Twitter Top Tracks: #6

Charts 'Worth It' has shown a decrease in position
Billboard Digital Songs: #12 to #16
Billboard Streaming Songs: #13 to #15
Billboard On-Demand Songs: #13 to #17
Billboard Songs of the Summer Chart: #14 to #15

International Charts
Internationally, the most notable changes I've noticed this week on the charts for Worth It are:
Billboard Canadian Hot 100: #14 to #16
Billboard Canadian Digital Songs: #12 to #14
Belgium (UltraTop Flanders): #21 to #14 (New Peak)
Europe: #15 (Debut)
Switzerland: #27 to #22 (New Peak)
France: #34 to #24 (New Peak)
Austria: #32 to #24 (Re-Peak)
Australia: #29 to #27 (New Peak)
Hungary: #30 (Debut)
Netherlands: #36 to #33 (New Peak)
South Korea: #89 (Debut) to #53 (New Peak for this Week)
Brazil: #102 (Debut)
Several countries are taking great notice to Worth It and the single has debuted in five new international charts. Fifth Harmony is starting to take over the world with their latest single and they're becoming a huge hit! Hopefully this year and next year the girls will experience the same success they had with Worth It.

UK: #81 to #51 (New Peak)
Exclusively for the UK, I'm so proud of how the UK Harmonizers are doing. You guys are killing it! There had just been a midweek update released by the UK Official Singles Chart and showed that Fifth Harmony is hovering on #3 right now! WOW! It is hinted that Fifth Harmony could go Top 5 in the UK next week and I'm so pumped to see how the results will turn out. It does make sense, since Worth It has been killing iTunes in the UK holding onto #2 and #3 positions. Worth It has done significantly better than many other Fifth Harmony singles there are, so it makes sense that Worth It will surpass BO$$'s peak of 21 in the UK. We'll wait and see!

Also happening internationally, Worth It has recently been certified gold by Music Canada for selling over 40,000 copies of the single! Well done ladies! That is their first single certification outside of America! I think there are more certifications to come in the future internationally due to the tremendous success Worth It has, so get ready!

iTunes Charts (As of July 9th, 2015 6:00 P.M. in Alberta, Canada)
Here's what I'm currently seeing on the iTunes chart in America and internationally.
iTunes Brazil/Brasil: #3
Tunes UK: #4
iTunes Mexico: #5
iTunes Philippines: #8
iTunes Australia: #10
iTunes Philippines: #11
iTunes USA: #13
iTunes Canada: #13
iTunes France: #14
iTunes Ireland: #27
iTunes Austria: #32
iTunes Germany: #37
iTunes India: #82

Only iTunes Chart that I would like to see improve is India, c'mon India Harmonizers! You can do it! Apart from India, I love the numbers on all the other charts above. Harmonizers around the world are killing it!

YouTube
The girls have racked up over 85 million views as of today! Soon or later, they will receive their first Vevo Certification for over 100 million views! Take a look at the music video now if you haven't already!

Thanks for joining me today! I believe that's all the updates I have for you but if you want more Fifth Harmony, check out their acoustic performance of Worth It on Total Access! Gear up tomorrow Harmonizers, Fifth Harmony will be performing at the Today Show concert first thing in the morning!

Worth It Update #6

Hey everyone! This Worth It Update is for last week, the week of July 4th, 2015! I missed it due to some other important issues but now I'm back and ready to give you guys the full details before the charts change this Thursday! The next update will be ready Thursday for the week of July 11th, 2015. By the way, this Worth It Update will feature throwback photos of Fifth Harmony's performance of Worth It at Dancing With the Stars! Now, let's cover what we've missed last week!
(*Note*: For the most recent Worth It Post covering August 1st to August 6th, visit here: Worth It Update #11
July 7th, 2015)

Billboard (USA) Charts
Worth It is losing steam! The song has descended from its peak of #14 to #15 on the Billboard Hot 100! I was hoping the single could climb it's way to the Top 10, but I guess we've already made our mark with Top 15 at least. By far Fifth Harmony's best single to date, Fifth Harmony will have a tough time getting their next single to top Worth It. Below, I've listed out all of Worth It's new positions on the charts and I'm impressed! Fear not about the Hot 100, the single is still holding its own on many other charts on Billboard. Take a look below!
Charts: Previous Position to New Peak
Billboard Summer Songs: #16 to #14
Billboard Streaming Songs: #14 to #13
Billboard On-Demand Songs: #19 to #13
Billboard Dance/Mix Show Airplay: #17 to #11
Billboard Pop Songs: #8 to #7
Billboard Radio Songs: #20 to #15
Billboard YouTube Music Charts: #16 to #12
Other than the Hot 100, Worth It couldn't hold its own on the Billboard Digital Songs Chart, dropping from #9 to #12. Overall, I'd say the single is doing pretty well on most charts. The main fall was the Hot 100, but with a dedicated fanbase Fifth Harmony may be able to turn the tables around and climb once again! We never know!

International Charts
Internationally, the most notable changes I've noticed last week are:
Billboard Canadian Hot 100: #15 to #14
*Debut* UK Official Singles Chart: #81!
SO excited! Worth It debuted onto the UK Singles chart! 31 spots higher than Sledgehammer, showing that Fifth Harmony may be growing on the UK once again since BO$$'s peak of 21.

Overall for international charts, I know there's definitely more updates internationally for this week. I'll fill ya'll in this Thursday about which international charts Worth It has been doing well on.

iTunes Charts
Here's what I'm currently seeing on the iTunes chart in America and internationally.
iTunes UK: #2
iTunes Mexico: #5
iTunes Brazil: #7
iTunes Australia: #11
iTunes Philippines: #11
iTunes USA: #13
iTunes Canada: #13
iTunes Germany: #34
iTunes India: #50
I'm amazed with iTunes right now. So many strong positions on the charts! India and Germany need to step up their game though!
Shout-out to all my UK Harmonizers! You guys are killing it on the iTunes Chart! Worth It was just released July 5th in the UK and I love the support the girls are getting. I hope Little Mix gets the same support in America and Canada!

YouTube
The girls have racked up over 80 million views now! Their highest music video views to date, surpassing BO$$! If you haven't seen the music video yet, check it out below!

That's a wrap ya'll! Thanks so much for visiting my blog and I'll have this week's Worth It Update up by tomorrow! Thank you and check out my other posts if you want to! Check out Fifth Harmony's performance at Dancing With The Stars if you haven't already!

July 7th, 2015: Happy Birthday Ally!

Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't been on recently, I've been trying to get ahead of my courses by taking my Final Math Class in the summer. I know, it's depressing :( But I've come back to wish my beautiful little girl Ally Happy Birthday! 22 years and she has grown so much (as a person, maybe not in height lol sorry Ally). Take a look back at pictures of Ally from the past to commemorate the our little birthday girl!
