The newly created buzz recently for #5H2 started up again in the end of January 2016 and beginning of February 2016 after 3-4 months of the Fifth Harmony members spending some quality family time and a much needed break after almost 8 months of touring, attending awards show, promoting singles and making special guest appearances in several talk shows. The five girls reunited and took a group photo in a desert setting with a sunset and posted on their Fifth Harmony social media sites 'Back to Work' on January 29th, 2016.
I'm very sure that to this day, they have finished recording all of their potential #5H2 tracks. Most of the recording seems to have been done in late 2015 in October and November before they set out to conquer Europe for their European Reflection Tour. So they are in the stage of preparing how to go about promoting their upcoming singles and their new album and finalizing the tracklist. We all know how excruciating it was waiting for them to 'finalize' their tracklist for the Reflection Album back in Fall 2014. Then it got pushed.... and pushed.... and pushed.... until it finally came upon is February 3rd, 2015...... So this is the reason why this time around, we don't have an actual date to look forward to. We're just stuck with the word 'soon' until they're comfortable with officialising a date for the release. Which is pretty understandable in terms of the tragic state all of us harmonizers were in during the Reflection Era....
So anyways, back to the big anticipation for 5H's upcoming single! Turns out that all along for the past two weeks, the girls were already on the set of their new music video and taking photos for the cover art of the new album! The shoot for the music video took place on February 8th and it may already be done right now! Check out some photos from the 5H music video!

Now here's the most exciting part that's got some hard-core harmonizers freaking out. Not everyone knows this yet, but the single has already been sent to several radio stations already! Many DJs and Radio Hosts have already listened to the single and one DJ in particular was too excited to keep quiet from the harmonizer fandom. No.... he didn't spoil the song title or the day it'd be released, but he gave us some pretty helpful info about the single. On Twitter, @DJsupajames tweeted out that he was listening to the new single on February 10th. Many excited harmonizers asked him loads of questions, and he was kind enough to answer some while not giving any important info away.
Harmonizer: "All I need to know is, WILL IT DROP WITHIN THE NEXT WEEK"
@DJsupajames: "Little longer than that but SOON"
Harmonizer: "Is the new 5H mid tempo or uptempo???"
@DJsupajames: "Mid"
Harmonizer: "When are they dropping it????!"
@DJsupajames: "I don't have an exact date, but before March is the plan"

@DJsupajames: "Now allowed to say! It's a 3 word title"
Harmonizer: "is it she's my girl!?"
@DJsupajames: "No lol everyone is asking that, have they teased that as a track?"
Harmonizer: "Do they (5H girls) all have a part?"

Harmonizer: "How much does Lauren sing"
@DJsupajames: "They're pretty equal. They all sound pretty similar on the song. Atleast for me it was hard to tell who was who"
Harmonizer: "Does it sound more like Worth It, Sledgehammer or BO$$?"

OH MY GOD! I was so excited when he was answering questions and gave us minor hints of what the song would be like. He also said it's a radio hit and he'll play it on his radio stations right away! SO EXCITED AND I CAN'T WAIT! #5H2 HERE WE COME!
UPDATE (Feb. 12): L.A. Reid of Epic has just confirmed that the single will come out FEBRUARY 26th! GET READY HARMONIZERS!
UPDATE (Feb. 13): Perez Hilton tweeted on his personal account that the song will feature a famous African-American male rapper. Perez Hilton tweeted that the single felt more of the same to Worth It. He wanted an evolution, something fresh and different. He added that the song was fine, very generic, not a bad song at all but it didn't blow him away. The reason why he didn't like the song was due to the fact that it has yet another rapper and makes the single seem 'formulaic' and he wanted the girls to shine on their own. Perez agrees with a harmonizer that maybe once the song is playing on lots of Radios and is heard a bunch more times, it may grow on people.
UPDATE (Feb. 22): A Radio Station accidentally leaked the name of the single in an article and Maverick Management forced them to change it. It is called 'Work From Home'.
UPDATE (Feb. 22): Lauren's father Mike Jauregui confirmed the rapper on the single would be J. Cole. I think I may have heard of him, but I'm not exactly familiar with his work and I may have forgot. Oh well, hopefully he raps good on 'Work From Home'!
